I am an Assistant Professor in the Division of Economics and Business at Colorado School of Mines
My research lies in environmental and natural resource economics. I am primarily interested in the design and evaluation of U.S. energy and environmental policies. Currently I am working on two distinct research questions: how can we ensure that we produce enough oil and gas in a safe and beneficial fashion? And what are the implications of implementing climate change policies at state and regional levels instead of national and international levels? In prior research, I explored the implications of market volatility for environmental policy.
